Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Walczak in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Abbiati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Stanislaw Walczak put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Abbiati. Gösta Söderberg made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tanek Ostrowski would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hamza Hanefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Tanek Ostrowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Walczak came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Söderberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Tanek Ostrowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gösta Söderberg made a great header on KANONIERZY's corner, it was just that Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Söderberg got free with Tanek Ostrowski in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's Stanislaw Walczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Abbiati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Olympique Gdynia got a corner. KANONIERZY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jurand Frankowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Olympique Gdynia's corner Jurand Frankowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Abbiati quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Olympique Gdynia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Stanislaw Walczak hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Olympique Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Walczak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Walczak in the 41st minute of play forced KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislaw Walczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Abbiati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Tirso Isasaga kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislaw Walczak to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Stanislaw Walczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislaw Walczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tirso Isasaga got free with Christian Abbiati in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Sobania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Stanislaw Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner. Jurand Frankowski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tirso Isasaga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Abbiati quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ivo Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Christian Abbiati came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Stanislaw Walczak. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Walczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Christian Abbiati was a little too slow when Stanislaw Walczak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 86th minute, Ivo Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Walczak in the 88th minute of play forced KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Tirso Isasaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Walczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Christian Abbiati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
