Czeslaw Domeracki started the match with the kick off. Czeslaw Domeracki took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Konopka. Edmund Konopka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Antoni Piechniczek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kryspin Siedlecki, made in the 7th minute of the game. When Czeslaw Domeracki came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Olympique Gdynia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Czeslaw Domeracki couldn't finish the play. Tanek Ostrowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Wojtowicz went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski got control of the ball when Alvise Di Crescenzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Edmund Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Domeracki in the 19th minute of play. Edmund Konopka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tirso Isasaga's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Czeslaw Domeracki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edmund Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Domeracki came free, but Edmund Konopka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 32nd minute. Edmund Konopka came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Stanislaw Walczak. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Walczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvise Di Crescenzo to strike the kick off in the second half. Kryspin Siedlecki hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Noam Chomsky hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tanek Ostrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 55th minute of the match. The corner ended in Tomasz Fosaa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski did a great save. Edmund Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tirso Isasaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislaw Walczak got free with Edmund Konopka in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Konopka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tirso Isasaga in the 63rd minute of play. ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Edmund Konopka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Walczak came free, but Edmund Konopka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Di Crescenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanislaw Walczak kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Fosaa came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olympique Gdynia's Tirso Isasaga got a free kick in the 76th minute. When ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympique Gdynia's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the match, ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s goalkeeper Edmund Konopka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Czeslaw Domeracki. With an all-out effort, Olympique Gdynia's Edmund Konopka threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Czeslaw Domeracki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 92 played minutes ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Fosaa. When the match was over Olympique Gdynia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ throughout the match.
