The corner was taken by Ime Mavros in the 3rd minute. The corner led to KANONIERZY's Ivo Chaves getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jurek Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ime Mavros in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Bitcoin Elbląg got a corner. KANONIERZY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sylwester Nowacki ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jean-Philippe Messe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jean-Philippe Messe might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Abbiati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Philippe Messe ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Abbiati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Nevada's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the game Ivo Chaves made a throw-in which Ime Mavros played forward. Tolek Dobilas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Vicente Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bitcoin Elbląg's Jaroslaw Birkenhagen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ivo Chaves, made in the 37th minute of the game. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Nevada in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Vicente Nevada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Abbiati was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vicente Nevada might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Abbiati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Nevada ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Bitcoin Elbląg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Nevada was the one to do the kick off. Dawid Sliwinski hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Söderberg. Christian Abbiati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Nevada in the 64th minute. Ime Mavros scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurek Dudek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bitcoin Elbląg's Przemyslaw Wojtkiewicz was substituted for Remigiusz Klimkiewicz. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Recoba in the 72nd minute of play. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Nevada in the 75th minute of the match. Gösta Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jurek Dudek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KANONIERZY. Jurek Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 81st minute of play. Christian Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Nevada in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Bitcoin Elbląg defense, Ime Mavros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jurek Dudek. The Bitcoin Elbląg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jurek Dudek should have stopped the shot. Christian Abbiati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Recoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Recoba in the 95th minute of play forced KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KANONIERZY had won after a very even match.
