An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Dulgherescu in the 5th minute of play forced CACYFA's goalkeeper Luis Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Anthony Barnes took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Quirce. Luis Quirce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nacho Hernández sped through CACYFA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Quirce. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marshall Cho during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CACYFA booed when Dep. Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Cho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Sanduru. The audience thought a goal was coming when Safet Jovanović got free with Mihkel Aksalu in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Safet Jovanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mihkel Aksalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Safet Jovanović got free with Mihkel Aksalu in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Adrian Czornomaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CACYFA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. CACYFA's Luis Quirce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, CACYFA's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Barnes came free, but Luis Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Dulgherescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The wind increased when Nacho Hernández made the kick off in the second half. Luis Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ion Dulgherescu's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind CACYFA's goalkeeper Luis Quirce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilano Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilano Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Hernández in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Anthony Barnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dep. Moron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 66thth minute of the game Nacho Hernández who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CACYFA's Luis Quirce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dep. Moron eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
