Jesper Harman started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Ennegren to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute, Roy Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sävedalen's Arne Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sävedalen from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Roy Danielsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Markus Forsberg. Markus Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arne Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesper Harman in the 18th minute. If Jonathan Tingberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jesper Harman charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesper Harman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sävedalen booed when Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Harman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Markus Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Danielsson in the 23rd minute of play. Markus Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Sikström in the 28th minute of play. If Jesper Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Roy Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävedalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Danielsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roy Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Harry Sikström made a precise shot to the right of Markus Forsberg. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Danielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Sikström in the 53rd minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Markus Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sävedalen's Daniel Hagberg was substituted for Harry Sikström. Sävedalen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tor Jönsson in the 58th minute. Sävedalen's Tor Jönsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Markus Forsberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Christoffer Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's protests and gave Christoffer Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Pihlgren. Markus Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Roy Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 61 minutes, Jonathan Tingberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävedalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Tingberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sävedalen booed when Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sävedalen made a substitution. Mark Fagerberg replaced Roy Danielsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mark Fagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävedalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Fagerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Markus Forsberg managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Sävedalen's Mark Fagerberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute Daniel Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Markus Forsberg managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Sävedalen's Mark Fagerberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Hagberg came free, but Markus Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Forsberg having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Mark Fagerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sävedalen and the Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mark Fagerberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Timmy Lindmark's late challenge caught a Sävedalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmy Lindmark helped the player get up and apologised. Sävedalen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
