Dani Cáceres was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Centeno. Abelardo Bernabel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving MatÃas Patrone. 0-1. Tomáš Kožený's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ambrosio Dacio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ambrosio Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ambrosio Dacio made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tomáš Kožený sent off a good shot on target. Hakan Kaan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. MatÃas Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakan Kaan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomáš Kožený got free with Ambrosio Dacio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Centeno's goalkeeper Ambrosio Dacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Bierhoff. Ambrosio Dacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Centeno got a freekick which was hit by Hakan Kaan. 36 minutes into the match, Tomáš Kožený notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Centeno's Ambrosio Dacio. Ambrosio Dacio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Hilario Asteri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. MatÃas Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Halland, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Delfines's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abelardo Bernabel was slow to take the kick. During this time Centeno's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Victorio Matai managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomáš Kožený to make the kick off. With his leg MatÃas Patrone managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Centeno's Dariusz Adamski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victorio Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without MatÃas Patrone having to interfere. Los Delfines made a substitution. Lucas Urbez replaced Tomáš Kožený. Los Delfines's Raimundo Goyo was substituted for Ambrosio Bartolome. Centeno's Ambrosio Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Urbez in the 69th minute of play. MatÃas Patrone made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Toro Halland sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Centeno's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Goyo came free, but Ambrosio Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakan Kaan in the 80th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper MatÃas Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Urbez in the 81st minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Ambrosio Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Centeno's zone, Raimundo Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Dacio came out of the goal and Raimundo Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Centeno made a substitution. Esteve Jurdan replaced Abelardo Bernabel. In the 91st minute Lucas Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Igor Celio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centeno's protests and gave Igor Celio a yellow card for diving instead. Ambrosio Dacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Urbez went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Los Delfines were the better team. Los Delfines's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
