Emil Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Alfredo Geleberto sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Alfredo Geleberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Borowski to make the kick off. Ferdinand Luca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 53rd minute of play. Ferdinand Luca had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Wladyslaw Popowicz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ferdinand Luca was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Karol Borowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karol Borowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolás González in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Arendarski saved C. A. Potrero from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás González in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Arendarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Signoretti in the 90th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Felipe Olivar tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The C. A. Potrero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Potrero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
