Igor Jokin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Emil Arendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C. A. Potrero's Celestino Sidro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Åke Sandwall, made in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Marno F.C.'s Lisandro Vitin got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Mónos got free with Emil Arendarski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jokin in the 25th minute of the match. Mateusz Marajda scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Beltxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Gabriel Mónos in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C. A. Potrero's Pastor Montrell. Lisandro Vitin made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pete Sutcliffe however managed to control. After some careless play in the Marno F.C. defense, Mateusz Marajda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Beltxe. The Marno F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Beltxe should have stopped the shot. Celestino Sidro's late challenge caught a Marno F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Sidro helped the player get up and apologised. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Cristobal Dominix replaced Pete Sutcliffe. In the 38th minute, Celestino Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Marno F.C. defense, Mateusz Marajda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Beltxe. The Marno F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Beltxe should have stopped the shot. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Karol Borowski replaced Mateusz Marajda. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Jokin was the one to do the kick off. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Mónos in the 51st minute of play. Karol Borowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Karol Borowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Beltxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 61 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Karol Borowski came free, but Aldo Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Gabriel Mónos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Aldo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Silvino in the 73rd minute of the match. Marno F.C.'s Cláudio López was substituted for Igor Jokin. Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente was substituted for Lázaro Cefero. If Zeledon Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Celestino Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The C. A. Potrero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Potrero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
