An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Lester in the 7th minute of play forced 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Eriberto Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Hernani Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLASNIKE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adan Duardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Urti in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy got a free kick in the 23rd minute. PLASNIKE's Adán Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes PLASNIKE got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Gilesindo. In the 28th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Olando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Godoy in the 30th minute of the match. 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hector Olando in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eriberto Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adán Campos in the 35th minute of play. 1989 Blxsk's Eriberto Honesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save 1989 Blxsk from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Hernani Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 47 in the game by Adán Campos from a close distance when the talented Eriberto Honesto managed to make a qualified save. 1989 Blxsk's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eriberto Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Lucas in the 50th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Danilo Jordy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eriberto Honesto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Danilo Jordy took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Honesto. Eriberto Honesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 54th match minute, 1989 Blxsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Tiniebra to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Lucas in the 59th minute of the match. PLASNIKE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Merlin Lester in the 60th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Adan Duardo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 1989 Blxsk's Eriberto Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adán Campos in the 62nd minute of play. PLASNIKE's Hector Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 68th minute of play. Hernani Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1989 Blxsk made a substitution. The 1989 Blxsk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1989 Blxsk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
