Alix Poulain charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alix Poulain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Fc Kertzfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alix Poulain to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Fc Kertzfeld defense, Roch Felenak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwendal Créteur. The Fc Kertzfeld fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwendal Créteur should have stopped the shot. Gwendal Créteur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Felenak in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Roch Felenak made a precise shot to the right of Gwendal Créteur. Fc Kertzfeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19th minute Roch Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwendal Créteur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fc Kertzfeld! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for La Pointe Courte. Roch Felenak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gwendal Créteur. 0-3. Charles Bernot made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pastor Cambranes immediately put the ball in play. When Roch Felenak came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the La Pointe Courte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Felenak couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Titouan Levet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Fc Kertzfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Bernot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Kertzfeld's Gwendal Créteur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Felenak in the 40th minute of play. Gwendal Créteur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Impens in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Felenak in the 47th minute of play forced Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Gwendal Créteur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Donato was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Roch Felenak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gwendal Créteur. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. Jacob Josef Saumon made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pastor Cambranes however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Felenak in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwendal Créteur saved Fc Kertzfeld from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Felenak got free with Gwendal Créteur in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Yves Leite replaced Roch Felenak. After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Charles Bernot got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Yves Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwendal Créteur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwendal Créteur was a little too slow when Yves Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-6. 72 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Donato came free, but Jolan Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwendal Créteur made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Yves Leite sent off a good shot on target. Jacob Josef Saumon made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alix Poulain. 80 minutes into the game, Yves Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gwendal Créteur. Yves Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 83 minutes into the match, Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Gwendal Créteur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Leite. In the 86th minute Fc Kertzfeld were awarded a corner. Alix Poulain went to the cornerflag to take it. If Yves Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fc Kertzfeld's Gwendal Créteur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Kertzfeld from getting a goal against them. Gwendal Créteur was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Yves Leite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yves Leite really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. La Pointe Courte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
