The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Marcel Lemahieu threw the ball into play from the sideline. klide13's Valeri Hubavenski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luís Paulo Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Rat in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Rat came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustave Rat in the 18th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qiu Zhi came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by klide13's He Gang Jian. But to his dismay, He Gang Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when He Gang Jian came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustave Rat in the 24th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Lemahieu made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Martial Haas. Marcel Lemahieu made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Freddy Escudié however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Gang Jian in the 33rd minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, klide13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Arotăriței to maneuver through the defense. klide13's Youri Maguet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save klide13 from getting a goal against them. Titouan Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, klide13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeri Hubavenski to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Freddy Escudié shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youri Maguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SILMONT's Theo Hernandez pulled a muscle in his leg after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When He Gang Jian fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored klide13's protests and gave He Gang Jian a yellow card for diving instead. SILMONT's Damazy Ruszczyk was substituted for Theo Hernandez. He Gang Jian hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The SILMONT fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when SILMONT's Thomas Albaret looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Titouan Canal in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Youri Maguet saved klide13 from getting behind. Youri Maguet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Escudié's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Albaret in the 65th minute of play forced klide13's goalkeeper Youri Maguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Thomas Albaret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youri Maguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Youri Maguet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titouan Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Freddy Escudié shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youri Maguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SILMONT were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after klide13's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martial Haas took the corner. Javier Bordat made a great header on SILMONT's corner, it was just that klide13's Youri Maguet managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, klide13's Karim Decottignies got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Javier Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SILMONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Bordat couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Titouan Canal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Youri Maguet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 89 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustave Rat. Qiu Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Gavelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adriano Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the klide13 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SILMONT.
