When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertinho Cavalcante made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Roque in the 52nd minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Cavalcante in the 68th minute of play. Rafinha de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Rafinha de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Armando Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Hoffmann in the 80th minute of play. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ were furious when Asmund Nyvold was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 87th minute, Elder Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Albertinho Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derwin Valensuela hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
