The corner ended in Juan Pablo Teran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Lucas in the 21st minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Gröhe saved Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olavo Lucas made a kick off. Dida Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Asmund Nyvold fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's protests and gave Asmund Nyvold a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Asmund Nyvold got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to TIMETER EC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Joaquim Tande hit a great ball. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Victor Aristizábal was substituted for Teofil Gorzkiewicz. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Fance Salisbury was substituted for Guilherme Félix. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
