The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Star Red Brasil - DMZ booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Sarricolea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Artur Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, Nico Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Pernambucano. Breguete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Nico Cardozo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Artur Pernambucano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roderick van Boxel in the 19th minute of play forced Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goalkeeper Baykan Turatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Cardozo in the 20th minute of play. Artur Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Breguete FC! Flavien Gally shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 26 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Cardozo came free, but Artur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goalkeeper Artur Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Cardozo. Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. Artur Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugênio de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Nico Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Pernambucano was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Nico Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Star Red Brasil - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Duarte Faria was substituted for Mauro do Vale. 64 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Cardozo came free, but Artur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Pernambucano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 80 minutes into the match, Nico Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Pernambucano. Breguete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Roderick van Boxel got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nurkan Tümkut came free, but Artur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Custódio to maneuver through the defense. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Nico Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
