A collision led to Star Red Brasil - DMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Matias Ferdinand hit a great ball. Luis León took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baykan Turatekin. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Star Red Brasil - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Felix Joseph fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Star Red Brasil - DMZ's protests and gave Felix Joseph a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Joseph hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Cardozo in the 25th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baykan Turatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykan Turatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Joris Scheer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Turatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Star Red Brasil - DMZ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mauro do Vale hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Nico Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Cerezo. S.C.CHUÍ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Bernardinho Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baykan Turatekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nico Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Cerezo having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joris Scheer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bernardinho Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S.C.CHUÍ's Elder Donatello was substituted for Adalberto Soeiro. In the 60th minute Joris Scheer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Turatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer managed to work through Star Red Brasil - DMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Joris Scheer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 68thth minute of the game Joris Scheer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Coutinho in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Cardozo in the 72nd minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Cardozo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Cerezo. Armando Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Luís Fabiano Tasso was substituted for Isaltino Goiano. Baykan Turatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derwin Valensuela in the 79th minute of the match. Baykan Turatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardinho Abreu took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baykan Turatekin. Baykan Turatekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Luís Fabiano Tasso hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Joris Scheer might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baykan Turatekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joris Scheer ran back to his position shaking his head. Baykan Turatekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match S.C.CHUÍ got a corner. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis León ran over to the corner to take the kick. S.C.CHUÍ's Luis León was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baykan Turatekin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 93rd minute Nico Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu got a free kick in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
