Velcho Rolanski had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Dito Penha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Teresópolis F.C defense, Dito Penha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Velcho Rolanski. The Teresópolis F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Velcho Rolanski should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Cauan Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velcho Rolanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Miran FC's Aquiles Paro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Shevchenko in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Michel Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Paro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velcho Rolanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aquiles Paro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The New Miran FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New Miran FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
