In the 3rd minute Vitor Roque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Turatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Baxter in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Lucas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baykan Turatekin saved Star Red Brasil - DMZ from getting behind. With a little luck, Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin got control of the ball when Artur Buczko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Isaltino Goiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dida Gröhe. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Barry Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Olavo Lucas sped through Star Red Brasil - DMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baykan Turatekin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Cardozo in the 23rd minute of play forced Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flavien Gally who took care of the corner kick. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Star Red Brasil - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olavo Lucas was slow to take the kick. During this time Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's players had a chance to rest. In the 30thth minute of the game Barry Baxter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Buczko got free with Baykan Turatekin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Buczko took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baykan Turatekin. Baykan Turatekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Star Red Brasil - DMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Väino Ratas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Cardozo in the 41st minute of play forced Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baykan Turatekin was a little too slow when Barry Baxter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dida Gröhe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ from getting a goal against them. After 62 played minutes Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Barral. In the 64th minute, Cristiano Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vitor Roque came free, but Baykan Turatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Star Red Brasil - DMZ defense, Artur Buczko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baykan Turatekin. The Star Red Brasil - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baykan Turatekin should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Cardozo got free with Dida Gröhe in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dida Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Nico Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vitor Roque came free, but Baykan Turatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ made a substitution. Célio Hoffmann replaced Rafinha de Souza. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Célio Hoffmann in the 79th minute. Barry Baxter was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Nico Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Star Red Brasil - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Cardozo in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ had played much better football throughout.
