Alberto Rossi made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Giovani Batista immediately put the ball in play. Arlindo Silveira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Meninos De Cotia's Faustin Ostermann in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Arlindo Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Furino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Mangueira in the 40th minute of the match. Biagio Furino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustin Ostermann's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Paraná Clube Brasil defense, Faustin Ostermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio Furino. The Paraná Clube Brasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio Furino should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Silveira made a kick off. Paraná Clube Brasil were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Meninos De Cotia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Pedro Prestes took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Batista in the 53rd minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Silveira in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Faustin Ostermann came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Faustin Ostermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 78 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Maldini. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Arlindo Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraná Clube Brasil's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Bezerra. Faustin Ostermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Furino having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Giovani Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Meninos De Cotia's Faustin Ostermann got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Silveira in the 91st minute of play. Hugo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Although Paraná Clube Brasil had been in control for most of the match, Meninos De Cotia still came away with the win.
