The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gildo Silva was slow to take the kick. During this time Warren FC - DMZ's players had a chance to rest. Gildo Silva made a great header on Warren FC - DMZ's corner, it was just that HeBr United's Gilberto Dionísio managed to reach the ball for a save. Aloísio Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka in the 11th minute of play. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilberto Dionísio firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 39thth minute of the game Paulinho MacLaren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warren FC - DMZ's Aloísio Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vito Rocha hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Vito Rocha got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ni Feng Nan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ni Feng Nan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, David Luis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aloísio Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ireno Benedicto sent off a good shot on target. Gilberto Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ni Feng Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HeBr United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
