After 80 minutes 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulinho MacLaren who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Paulinho MacLaren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodriguinho Loureiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes into the match, 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ireno Benedicto came free, but Rodriguinho Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Kazimierz Konopka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pedrinho Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gilberto Dionísio made a huge save. Despite being the better team, 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
