A collision led to HeBr United getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eurico Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Silas de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gilberto Dionísio made a huge save. Vicente de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Silas de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 15th minute Juan Aleso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulinho MacLaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wiliam Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka in the 17th minute of play. After 20th play minutes Juan Aleso shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Gilberto Dionísio and just under the crossbar into goal. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho MacLaren in the 25th minute of play. Wiliam Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cui Chong Guang in the 26th minute of play. If Kazimierz Konopka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute Ireno Benedicto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HeBr United's Gilberto Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Vidal in the 35th minute of play. If Paulinho MacLaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Konopka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiliam Simão. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Konopka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 44th minute Paulinho MacLaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Paulinho MacLaren made a precise shot to the right of Wiliam Simão. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Konopka was the one to do the kick off. Wiliam Simão was a little too slow when Ireno Benedicto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 59th minute, Joel Azeredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur de Andrade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Dionísio. HeBr United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas de Brito in the 63rd minute of play forced HeBr United's goalkeeper Gilberto Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Paes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Gabriel Sara was substituted for Rhesos Routsis. In the 68th match minute, HeBr United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Silas de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas de Brito in the 71st minute of play forced HeBr United's goalkeeper Gilberto Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. HeBr United were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulinho MacLaren took the corner. After taking down the ball on HeBr United's corner Paulinho MacLaren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wiliam Simão quite easily take care of the ball. Gilberto Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silas de Brito went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Oier Lopez de Toro was substituted for Juan Aleso. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Onur Kaya was substituted for Jailson Domingues. A collision led to HeBr United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sebastião Paes hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho MacLaren. Pedro Freitas took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Dionísio. Gilberto Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. HeBr United's Gilberto Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas de Brito in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Tiago Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Gilberto Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gilberto Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Freitas in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while HeBr United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
