Ranko Canelas was slow to take the kick. During this time CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ranko Canelas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but HeBr United's Gilberto Dionísio did a great save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Afonso Marques made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, HeBr United's Luiz Paulo Domingues got a free kick in the 70th minute. 83 minutes into the match, HeBr United's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Marques came free, but Gilberto Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuca Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gilberto Dionísio made a huge save. HeBr United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Samuca Campidelis scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Dionísio, making the score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in HeBr United's zone, Samuca Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Dionísio came out of the goal and Samuca Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
