An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Azevedo in the 10th minute of play forced Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Aleso in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the LUIZ PANATO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ.
