The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, one of A.C. Paulistano - DMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.C. Paulistano - DMZ. 20 minutes into the match, A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Campos. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 34th minute Jean-Claude Van Damme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Campos saved A.C. Paulistano - DMZ from getting behind. Ronaldo Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Campos having to make a save. Jorge Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 47th minute of play forced A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Campos was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Ronaldo Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Paulistano - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Pedrinho Fahlmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Campos having to make a save. A.C. Miau Stars's Pedrinho Fahlmann got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Campos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedrinho Fahlmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 94 minute of play. The A.C. Paulistano - DMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Miau Stars were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
