In the 25th minute Örjan Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Kléberson Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fenomeno came free, but John Osomo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Ronaldo Fenomeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ronaldo Fenomeno 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Örjan Björkdahl made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Kenneth Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulkadir Eraslan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ture Rosendahl. 57 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Fenomeno notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo. John Osomo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulkadir Eraslan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Ademar Rodrigues threw the ball into play from the sideline. Miau Stars's Elias Prata quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. John Osomo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Fenomeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 70th minute of play. Ronaldo Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Osomo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Ronaldo Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulkadir Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Björkdahl in the 73rd minute of the match. Ademar Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Miau Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademar Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Ademar Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ made a substitution. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Fahlmann in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Osomo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Fahlmann notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo. John Osomo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Fahlmann in the 88th minute of play. Miau Stars had played much better football throughout.
