An unexpectedly hard shot by Velin Golubarev in the 9th minute of play forced A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Piatek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Velin Golubarev's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Loyola notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Loyola in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Loyola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Campos was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Velin Golubarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 31st minute of play. A.C. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Velin Golubarev put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Campos. 42 minutes into the match, A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Velin Golubarev came free, but Jorge Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Velin Golubarev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Campos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Zé Carlos Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Velin Golubarev took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Velin Golubarev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eude Teste during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Schmidt in the 59th minute of play. Akis Remoundos tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jorge Campos. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-6 in the 63rd minute. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Paulistano - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Eude Teste hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 74 minutes, Pašo Rodo  mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. Paulistano - DMZ and the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velin Golubarev, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos got control of the ball when Velin Golubarev tried to sneak it across the goal line. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Velin Golubarev scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Campos, making the score, 0-8. Velin Golubarev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Campos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Luís Guilherme Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to A.C. Paulistano - DMZ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pašo Rodo  hit a great ball. With a little luck, A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos got control of the ball when Zé Carlos Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Hermínio Cavalcante got a free kick in the 97th minute.
