Manfredo Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange got control of the ball when Virgiliu Doroftei tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match Grêmio FBPA got a corner. Coice de Mula's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stayko Vakareliyski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grêmio FBPA's Virgiliu Doroftei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluigi Orange in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
