Real Fantasma's Rodolfo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neto Queraria in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goal looked a bit too open when Neto Queraria came free, but Rodolfo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neto Queraria got free with Rodolfo Rodrigues in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Real Fantasma's zone, Chiquinho Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Chiquinho Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goalkeeper Rodolfo Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho Correia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Löhr in the 29th minute of play forced Real Fantasma's goalkeeper Rodolfo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillen Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Real Fantasma's Rodolfo Rodrigues got control of the ball when Neto Queraria tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Uriel Oliveiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar. Guillen Aguillar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Löhr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
