John Osomo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naci Cabezon went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Björkdahl got free with Diamantino Magalhães in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Björkdahl in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Real Fantasma's Diamantino Magalhães got control of the ball when Örjan Björkdahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Osomo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naci Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Cabezon in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Naci Cabezon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ture Rosendahl was slow to take the kick. During this time PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Naci Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Osomo was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Real Fantasma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
