In the 6th minute Ahmet Nedim Aynacıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Miau Stars got a corner. Real Ducks Sport Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arlindo Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zeca Lima managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zeca Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Nildo Melo sent off a good shot on target. Pedrinho Fahlmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Porfirio Harvey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrinho Fahlmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Ducks Sport Club's Porfirio Harvey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Fahlmann in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Kenneth Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Miau Stars's Pedrinho Fahlmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Porfirio Harvey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Pedrinho Fahlmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miau Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Real Ducks Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Fahlmann came free, but Porfirio Harvey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Ducks Sport Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Paulo Pontes hit a great ball. If Pedrinho Fahlmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto Sampaio got free with Abdulkadir Eraslan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Sampaio in the 46th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Miau Stars were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrinho Fahlmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Zeca Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Porfirio Harvey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
