Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Jardel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Han Xiang Chao during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barbieri Sports booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Han Xiang Chao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Ramiro Novaes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Telmo Valadares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Fabrício Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breno Vergílio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan das Neves's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Jardel to make the kick off. Alexandre Carvalho hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Carlos Cascarella's late challenge caught a Lupere FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Cascarella helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when Barbieri Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cascarella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Paraense came free in the 54th minute and tried to tip the ball over Breno Vergílio, but to the joy of Barbieri Sports's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The referee ignored Barbieri Sports's protests and gave Alexandre Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Barbieri Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 59th minute of play forced Barbieri Sports's goalkeeper Breno Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elivélton do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
