Claudinho Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karni Yair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Ian Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Pimenta. Xurupita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 38th minute, Kauan Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho Azevedo. Cambotinha EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Pimenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doğaner Doğu. Jarbas Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kauan Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Rosa made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Claudinho Azevedo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Agnaldo de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Paulista in the 85th minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Xurupita FC's Claudinho Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ange Garrec, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ange Garrec, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Claudinho Azevedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Joseph Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Claudinho Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cambotinha EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Xurupita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
