Breno Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Han Xiang Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Fabrício Jardel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Lupere FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Jardel couldn't finish the play. Alan das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Vergílio having to interfere. In the 39th minute Fabrício Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Novaes in the 40th minute of play. Murilo Saraiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Telmo Valadares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 44th minute Barbieri Sports were awarded a corner. Ramiro Novaes went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when Barbieri Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Alexandre Carvalho in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lupere FC - DMZ's João de Sousa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 67th minute of play forced Barbieri Sports's goalkeeper Breno Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Lupere FC - DMZ got a corner. Barbieri Sports's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Paraense ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eduardo Paraense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Alan das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Valadares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The corner led Barbieri Sports's Ramiro Novaes to fire away a dangerous shot which Telmo Valadares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Fabrício Jardel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barbieri Sports's Ramiro Novaes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Barbieri Sports from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Barbieri Sports booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. João de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Jardels short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Breno Vergílio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lupere FC - DMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
