In the 5th minute Bass Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davut Altınpınar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Bull Magnus's Cláudio Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Piatek in the 9th minute of play forced Red Bull Magnus's goalkeeper Cláudio Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Piatek came free, but Cláudio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Piatek in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Bittencourt saved Red Bull Magnus from getting behind. Ash Duxbury hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Bass Dost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Davut Altınpınar got control of the ball when Bass Dost tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Jan Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Red Bull Magnus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Hefter to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Zatorski scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zatorski came free, but Cláudio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Vieira to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bass Dost stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
