Barbieri Sports's Boruc Sokolski managed to work through Xurupita FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Boruc Sokolski dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jarbas Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Sokolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Kauan Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan Rosa in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joseph Kellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breno Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barbieri Sports's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agnaldo de Senna was slow to take the kick. During this time Xurupita FC's players had a chance to rest. Breno Vergílio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kauan Rosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play. Jarbas Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Severo in the 92nd minute of play. Xurupita FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
