In the 31st minute Erlantz Bermejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Baiano. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Erlantz Bermejo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Baiano. Eduardo Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Rodrigues in the 37th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 40th minute of the match. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
