When Zé Bani came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Club Atletico Juanita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Bani couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Zé Bani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Nikolay Bonkov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 23 minutes into the game, Zé Bani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nikolay Bonkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Zé Bani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Bani, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Zé Bani took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolay Bonkov. Nikolay Bonkov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. But to his dismay, Benigno Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 44 minutes into the game, Benigno Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Juanita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garlic Eaters the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Benigno Lopes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Club Atletico Juanita's Danijel Subašić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Bani was the one to do the kick off. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Bani, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Bani came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zé Bani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolay Bonkov was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Zé Bani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolay Bonkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Garlic Eaters made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Guerrero in the 74th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Edgardo Matteo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Nikolay Bonkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Bani went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Jozef Lewandowski made a precise shot to the right of Danijel Subašić. Club Atletico Juanita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garlic Eaters players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Juanita.
