In the 6th minute, Reynaldo Merexildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Alfredão Brasil in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Atletico Juanita's Marcelo Benet. In the 8th minute Zé Bani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Club Atletico Juanita's Zé Bani made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Baiano came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Juanita's Zé Bani. But to his dismay, Zé Bani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 18 minutes, Zé Bani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Juanita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Bani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Bani came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Gala's Edgar Souto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danijel Subašić. That made the score 1-2 after 25 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Mendonça got free with Danijel Subašić in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Zé Bani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Baiano was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Bani in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Baiano saved Inter Gala from getting behind. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Bani, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sandrinho Fontes's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Juanita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Fontes. Alfredão Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes Inter Gala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benigno Lopes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Juanita's corner Benigno Lopes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eduardo Baiano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Zé Bani made the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Danijel Subašić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the match, Reynaldo Merexildo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Baiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Zé Bani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Baiano was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Inter Gala made a substitution. Heinz Stalder replaced Jaime Rodrigues. The corner led Club Atletico Juanita's Benigno Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Eduardo Baiano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Bani, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Danijel Subašić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz Stalder in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Zé Bani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eduardo Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd match minute, Club Atletico Juanita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Matteo to maneuver through the defense. Zé Bani scored 1-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Bani in the 95th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Juanita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
