With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolay Bonkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Fitz Lambley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnauld Van Impe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Nikolay Bonkov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Garlic Eaters lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
