Daddy Miner made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gutenberg's Lucio Onbera. After 5 minutes of play, Gutenberg's Noah Le Bret Maboulou made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Miner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Gutenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Popcorn Miner came free, but 郭德常 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Noah Le Bret Maboulou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helmuth Miner was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Helmuth Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Delfino in the 18th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 郭德常 made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Alex Brașoveanu sent off a good shot on target. Helmuth Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noah Le Bret Maboulou, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Popcorn Miner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Guido Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Popcorn Miner might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 郭德常. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Popcorn Miner ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Popcorn Miner was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Popcorn Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 郭德常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Helmuth Miner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM from getting a goal against them. Helmuth Miner came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Gutenberg's Rodrigo Santos. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 91st minute of the match, Guido Delfino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Helmuth Miner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 94 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Helmuth Miner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Delfino. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
