Rune Jarstein made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Manole Miulescu sent off a good shot on target. Wilhelm Nienhaus scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Ööpik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Lüder Roppel. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Miulescu in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Armageddon's Manole Miulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Jarstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Armageddon's Manole Miulescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Armageddon's zone, Zé Paulo da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Ööpik came out of the goal and Zé Paulo da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lüder Roppel got a free kick in the 50th minute. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
