The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes in the game, Guillermo Marin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Giorgio March having to interfere. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Roman in the 9th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Giorgio March had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Tapia. After a rather tough play, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Victor Unesson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Del Piero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pol Petton, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Pepe Toxeiro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alessandro Del Piero. But to his dismay, Alessandro Del Piero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 32nd minute of play. Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pol Petton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Petton in the 40th minute of play. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Real Club Celta de Vigo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Roman took the corner. In the 47th match minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Unesson to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Tapia was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Roman got free with Pepe Toxeiro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Saul Roman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pepe Toxeiro. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 58th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Alessandro Del Piero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Montay Pena heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Alvar Llinares replaced Manuel Lopez de Toro. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist was substituted for Alessandro Del Piero. Christian Almkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pepe Toxeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Almkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 68th minute. Renato Tapia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pol Petton made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Poli Urquijo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Arias in the 84th minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Giorgio March to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Almkvist. With a little luck, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro got control of the ball when Christian Almkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Renato Tapia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Almkvist in the 94th minute of the match.
