An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Xiang in the 6th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ye Xiang got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Remigio Valerón was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Amadeo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Unzueta in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a corner. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amadeo Lara ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Saverio Castelao to a score. 2-0 in the 16th minute. 23 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Jakes Vila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ye Xiang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Valerón was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 29 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Ginés Figueres. Jakes Vila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Frederico Gaspar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Unzueta in the 35th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Lara managed to trick !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s defense and made a shot which however Frederico Gaspar didn't slip through. A nice save in the 44thth minute. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Amadeo Lara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frederico Gaspar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ye Xiang to make the kick off. Ginés Figueres kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Heli Sánchez threw the ball into play from the sideline. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Filomeno Camaño quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Ye Xiang came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the !Pabellon Ourense C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ye Xiang couldn't finish the play. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Guido Escobar was substituted for Jakes Vila. The supporters of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO booed when !Pabellon Ourense C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Soldado didn't get a good kick on the ball. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amadeo Lara took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Reyes in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Gaspar saved !Pabellon Ourense C.F. from getting behind. Guido Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Gaspar having to interfere. The throw-in from Tonio Mondejar in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cristian Reyes. 69 minutes into the match, Cristian Reyes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Frederico Gaspar. Frederico Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guido Escobar came free, but Frederico Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. Guido Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Guido Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s zone, Guido Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Gaspar came out of the goal and Guido Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederico Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Escobar in the 91st minute of the match. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Frederico Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Escobar in the 94th minute of play. Amadeo Lara took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico Gaspar. Frederico Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the referee ended the match the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
