In the 11th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Olayo to maneuver through the defense. If Domeka Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatolio Lozano to maneuver through the defense. Orti Sánchez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosario Escarza having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Orti Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garibaldo Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orti Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosario Escarza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orti Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calisto Abril, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Garibaldo Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Du Yuan Chao scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garibaldo Quijana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Garibaldo Quijana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Chano went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Orti Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Rosario Escarza made a huge save. The Fillos de Breogán players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LVCVS AVGVSTI were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Du Yuan Chao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calisto Abril might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosario Escarza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calisto Abril ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Skytt in the 55th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garibaldo Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Yuan Chao in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Calisto Abril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Skytt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Garibaldo Quijana made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 65th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Duardo Montero fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fillos de Breogán's protests and gave Duardo Montero a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Fillos de Breogán got a freekick which was hit by Duardo Montero. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
