Edgar Figari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Åke Andreasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Steve Mur got a free kick in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeng Yong during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Boiro! After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Demario Cuadrado got a free kick in the 28th minute. Steve Mur charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Mur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Steve Mur kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Perico Raya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the CD Boiro defense, Lesardo Alavedra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perico Raya. The CD Boiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perico Raya should have stopped the shot. Andrés Iniesta hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Turi made a kick off. Xiao Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Raya having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Alavés booed when CD Boiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Alavedra in the 64th minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Eustaquio Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Wiggo Wipp came free, but Perico Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Alavés's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The Deportivo Alavés fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. CD Boiro's Perico Raya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lesardo Alavedra in the 94th minute of play. Deportivo Alavés were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CD Boiro for a fine match.
