In the 4th minute Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Conrado Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 5th minute of the match Pogoń Szczecin got a corner. Wariatów Kupa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Donzel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Darko Pančev heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 8th match minute, Wariatów Kupa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Ming Ning to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Klaas Dejonghe made a huge save. Norbert Major's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaas Dejonghe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe got control of the ball when Norbert Major tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Norbert Major came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pogoń Szczecin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Major couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Wariatów Kupa's zone, Norbert Major stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Dejonghe came out of the goal and Norbert Major tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klaas Dejonghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Doris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Kempski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Major in the 31st minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Dejonghe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Major's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Norbert Major sped through Wariatów Kupa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Klaas Dejonghe. Norbert Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kempski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Sochacki in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Major to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norbert Major took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaas Dejonghe. Klaas Dejonghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Wariatów Kupa booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Trachanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Manos Trachanas hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Ke Xun Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Lewandowski came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Wariatów Kupa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Sidorowicz to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Lewandowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastião Xoxe. Osvaldinho Lewandowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Osvaldinho Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastião Xoxe was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The supporters of Wariatów Kupa booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Doris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Sochacki in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Lewandowski in the 89th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mikolaj Sochacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wariatów Kupa's Teodor Ivănescu got a free kick in the 94th minute. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Lewandowski in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Wariatów Kupa players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
