The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of MZetowe Mastodonty booed when Ekipa Gabi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Kosowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Bycofski made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MZetowe Mastodonty's Amir Hui. In the 7th minute Roch Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Haszczak in the 10th minute of play forced Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper Tadeusz Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wincenty Grabowicz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekipa Gabi's protests and gave Wincenty Grabowicz a yellow card for diving instead. Wincenty Grabowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tadeusz Walkowski came out of the goal and Roch Haszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeusz Walkowski came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by MZetowe Mastodonty's Roch Haszczak. But to his dismay, Roch Haszczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 29thth minute of the game Roch Haszczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekipa Gabi's Tadeusz Walkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tadeusz Walkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Haszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Roch Haszczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeusz Walkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roch Haszczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Ekipa Gabi's Tadeusz Walkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Haszczak in the 32nd minute of play. If Roch Haszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute Roch Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Ekipa Gabi's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Haszczak came free, but Tadeusz Walkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Roch Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roch Haszczak was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Haszczak in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Walkowski saved Ekipa Gabi from getting behind. Antoni Bycofski made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zachary Pankowski immediately put the ball in play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper Tadeusz Walkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute Roch Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Walkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Haszczak in the 59th minute of play. With his leg Tadeusz Walkowski managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when MZetowe Mastodonty's Roch Haszczak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. MZetowe Mastodonty's Amir Hui quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antoni Bycofski, made in the 64th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Roch Haszczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Walkowski was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Ekipa Gabi's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Haszczak came free, but Tadeusz Walkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Haszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Walkowski having to interfere. Tadeusz Walkowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Elías Figueroa. Tadeusz Walkowski was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Roch Haszczak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roch Haszczak really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. A collision led to Ekipa Gabi getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Antoni Bycofski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Haszczak got free with Tadeusz Walkowski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute MZetowe Mastodonty were awarded a corner. Elías Figueroa went to the cornerflag to take it. MZetowe Mastodonty's Elías Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tadeusz Walkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 80th minute, Zachary Pankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Haszczak in the 84th minute of play forced Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper Tadeusz Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's Roch Haszczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeusz Walkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waldemar Zdrojowy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Walkowski made a huge save. Pankracy Kosowski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Amir Hui sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeusz Walkowski skillfully saved the ball. After 92 minutes of play Ekipa Gabi's Wincenty Grabowicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 93 played minutes Ekipa Gabi got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Grabowicz. In the 95th minute Roch Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MZetowe Mastodonty supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MZetowe Mastodonty would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
