After some careless play in the Wariatów Kupa defense, Gianluca Lapadula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaas Dejonghe. The Wariatów Kupa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaas Dejonghe should have stopped the shot. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kempski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wariatów Kupa's zone, Gianluca Lapadula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Dejonghe came out of the goal and Gianluca Lapadula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wariatów Kupa's Osvaldinho Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Michal Jarosiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wariatów Kupa made a substitution. Teodor Ivănescu replaced Svetomir Kostić. The Wariatów Kupa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Bukowe were winning 1-5.

Wariatów Kupa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. KS Bukowe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stanislao Kuparinen in the 89th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Michal Jarosiewicz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Osvaldinho Lewandowski took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Dudek. Jerzy Dudek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. The KS Bukowe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KS Bukowe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
