Leandro Custódio came out of the goal and Caco Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Caco Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Caco Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Barreto came free, but João Paulo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's Caco Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Custódio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 41 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Barreto. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christiano Barreto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Caco Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Família Ressaca MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Caco Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Moreno came free, but Leandro Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wojciech Rutecki kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Família Ressaca MZ were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Leões do Sul 53's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eloy Soto took the corner. Breno Porto thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Leandro Custódio, a very annoying self made goal in the 66th minute which led to 4-0. Ronaldinho do Vale took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Custódio. Leandro Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. João Paulo Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Barreto in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Leandro Custódio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Caco Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Custódio. Leões do Sul 53's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Caco Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto Kleber's late challenge caught a Família Ressaca MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Kleber helped the player get up and apologised. If Caco Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Žygimantas Ivaška hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Família Ressaca MZ were the better team. Família Ressaca MZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
