Leandro Custódio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Hoffmann went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Kıvanç Bengi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Rüşti, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Bergwijn in the 75th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Leandro Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Steven Bergwijn sped through Leões do Sul 53's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Custódio. Litoral EC - CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
